Dietary Staff

The dietary department at Birkwood Village of Fort Madison (formally The Madison) is expanding! We are hiring more aides and cooks in preparation of the assisted living. Come join the staff for the brand-new building!

The Cook will be responsible for following safe food practices while preparing, cooking, and serving food. They are responsible for the supervision of Dietary Aides, and Universal Workers during food service times. No experience required, but preferred. Shifts available: 7-3:30p, 4-7:30p, 11:30-7:30p. 12-hour shifts may be available from 7a-7:30p if there is enough interest. Starting pay is $16.50/hour.

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for delivering meals, ensuring food safety, doing dishes, and providing a clean atmosphere for residents. No experience required. Shifts available: 6-2:30p, 4-7:30p. Starting pay is $12.50/hour.
