Universal Caregiver or Medication Tech – 3rd Shift Birkwood Village Assisted Living & Memory Care – Fort Madison, IA

Schedule: 3rd Shift, 10:00 p.m. – 6:20 a.m. | Mondays, Fridays, and every other Saturday/Sunday

Pay: $15.00 – $18.25/hour, depending on experience, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential for 3rd shift

Birkwood Village is hiring a Universal Caregiver/Medication Tech for our assisted living overnight team. If you’re dependable, compassionate, and looking for steady overnight hours in a close-knit senior living community, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transfers)
• Administer medications per care plans and state guidelines
• Complete light housekeeping duties
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and leadership
• Respond promptly and calmly to resident needs throughout the shift

Requirements:

• CNA and/or AL Medication Tech certification preferred, but not required
• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently overnight while staying connected to the care team
• Reliable attendance and a genuine passion for working with older adults
